You heard that right.  In 2011, Washington Interactive Network was awarded a $1.2 million grant by three federal agencies to create a series of economic development programs which stimulate the economy as a  whole and  

 

WIN's REACTOR Accelerator's Alpha Class will be on hand to DEMO their games. See the rising all stars of the Washington Interactive Community and learn more about this innovative Accelerator fueled by Seattle most successful Games Industry veterans to power the Games Industry and Market.

 

REFRACT studios - Distance: Digipen Grads go Indie, with they're inspired Parkour style driving game - will the sequel to their Massive Student hit Nitronic Rush be the next big winner

Subutai - Neal Stephenson’s infamous Kickstarter campaign launched this amazing Clang project that's bringing real swordsmanship to a hack and slash world

Freak'n Genius - the legendary team making animation fun, easy and accessible with motion control, pivots to the iOS and Mobile world

BodSix - The next big thing in Location Based Games - this tiny team has built incredible software from the ground up to power their first game, Map Monsters (now available at the App Store).

The Washington Interactive Network (WIN) is a 501c3 non-profit organization, which started as a program of the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County. Established in 2004, the purpose of WIN is to promote, nurture, and grow the Interactive Media industry in Washington State, and in the last five years the program has created and retained over 2,500 jobs and over $400 million in economic impact in the Puget Sound region.

WIN currently runs the REACTOR Accelerator, Interactive Media Education and Internship Program, Interactive Media Scholarship Program, and the Seattle Independent Game Competition.
